Namba District 3 is officially titled
the Sunshine R/C Boat Racers and covers the states of North Carolina,
South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Puerto rico. District 3
racing is now only held in Florida as that is the location of
all the active club's, but we hope to see that change in the
future. As our district name applies, since district racing is
year round due to our great racing weather, the sport is at a
heightened competition level with fierce competitors in all categories. |

District 3's High Points Racing Series
is 11 races throughout Florida. All are 2-day events except the
Olando Winternationals which is a 3-day event. Both Gas and Nitro
powered boats, highly competitive. In most classes the outcome
for the year is not solid until the last race of the year. This
series includes many races throughout the state of Florida including,
the Orlando WinterNats which is held in January every year. |
District 3 also contains a series of 1
day races in the central portion of Florida. Named the West
Coast Racing Association (W.C.R.A.), they hold an independent
points series This series is also for Nitro and Gas powered boats
and lots of fun.
